WPWool is a knowledge base dedicated to explaining how artificial intelligence fits into real WordPress workflows. These guidelines exist to protect clarity, accuracy, and long-term value across all content published on this site.
They apply to staff writers, guest contributors, and editors. Every article must follow these principles before it is accepted.
Our Editorial Mission
We publish content that helps WordPress professionals think clearly about AI.
This means:
- Explaining systems, not selling tools
- Teaching workflows, not shortcuts
- Showing trade-offs, not just benefits
Our goal is to reduce confusion and build understanding that lasts.
What We Publish
We accept content that focuses on:
- Conceptual frameworks and mental models
- Workflow breakdowns and system design
- AI agents and automation architectures
- Operational and business process changes
- Risks, limits, and ethical considerations
- Case-based explanations, even when anonymized
Each article must answer at least one of these questions:
- How does AI actually fit into WordPress work?
- What changes when AI is introduced into a workflow?
- Where does AI help, and where does it create friction?
What We Do Not Publish
We do not accept:
- Tool roundups or product comparisons
- Best plugin or best tool articles
- Affiliate style content
- Trend-driven or speculative posts without real context
- Generic AI tutorials without WordPress relevance
- Content written only for search rankings
If an article depends on naming tools to make its point, it is not a fit for WPWool.
Tool Mentions Policy
Tools may appear only as examples, never as the foundation of an article.
They must:
- Be mentioned neutrally
- Support a broader concept
- Never be framed as recommendations
Headlines and sections must never be structured around tool names.
Tone and Voice
All content must be:
- Clear and direct
- Calm and analytical
- Practical, not promotional
- Honest about limits and risks
We write like practitioners explaining systems to other practitioners.
AI Usage Policy
AI may be used to:
- Create outlines
- Draft early versions
- Summarize or simplify concepts
AI must not be used to:
- Invent experiences or metrics
- Replace subject-matter judgment
- Publish unreviewed final drafts
Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication.
Accuracy and Quality Standards
All content must:
- Use correct WordPress terminology
- Reflect real-world constraints
- Avoid exaggerated claims
- Include trade-offs and limitations
- Provide clear reasoning
We favor clarity over cleverness and depth over speed.
Review and Revisions
Every submission goes through:
- Editorial review for clarity and structure
- Technical review for accuracy
- Final approval before publication
Revisions may be requested. Rejection does not mean the idea lacks value, only that it does not fit WPWool’s standards.
Contributing to WPWool
If you would like to contribute, your pitch should include:
- The problem you want to explain
- Why it matters to WordPress professionals
- The framework or workflow you will cover
We are interested in ideas that help people think better, not faster.
